This piece faithfully reproduces, to scale, one of the decorative motifs of the Nasrid Palaces. It is a 12-pointed star with doubled, interweaving ornamentation. The interweaving lines create negative spaces which feature acorns. The entire design emerges from a central square. It features an earthen-water patina which is very characteristic of the Alhambra monument.

Location: Corridor between Cuarto Dorado and Palacio de Comares. Alhambra.

This space leads onto some of the most representative courtyards of the Alhambra, such as the Patio de Arrayanes, the central courtyard of the Palacio de Comares, which houses the Throne Hall where historically justice was placed out.

Faithful scale copy of one of the decorative motifs of the Nasrid Palaces. It reproduces a 12-pointed star with double overlapping latticework, generating spaces with acorns, from a central square. It has a water-mud patina very characteristic of the Alhambra monument.

This space leads around a bend to one of the most representative courtyards of the Alhambra, the Patio de Arrayanes, a distributor of the Comares Palace that houses the Throne Room where justice was administered.
